Fireworks Value Series™ Multi-Color Engine Kit

Our new Fireworks Value Series LED strips provide excellent multi-color lighting for the budget conscious. Impressively bright, our Fireworks Value Strips are thin so they can barely be seen when attached to the bottom of your tank and they produce a smooth, even glow of light.

Our Fireworks Value Series Basic Multi-Color Engine kit lights your engine with any of seven different colors and animate them with special effects. This kit includes two (2) Fireworks 21-cluster strips with our color changing, strobe, breathing, flashing and color blending remote control unit and dual-remote keychains. Also includes the installation supplies you need for a do-it-yourself installation, other than a few hand tools. Fully expandable design allows you to easily add additional strips in the future.

The wire attached to each end of the strip contains 3 power wires (Red, Green & Blue) and a common ground.

For a typical Harley installation, cut each 21-LED strip once to provide both a 15-cluster and a 6-cluster strip. The (2) 15-cluster strips will be located under each side of the tank and the (2) 6-cluster strips are placed behind the horn cover and the breather.

Sealed, Flexible Strips

The LEDs on our Fireworks Value Series strips are completely sealed against the elements. They are heat resistant, waterproof and easily cleaned for a lifetime of maintenance free operation. The soft, gel-like strips provide maximum flexibility and a clean and sleek appearance. Their low profile design makes them virtually invisible when placed on the bottom of your tank and their wide viewing angle floods your bike with light.

Each strip has wire leads on both ends, allowing you to cut it once in a multiple of 3-cluster segments. With a total of 21 clusters per strip, you can cut the strip in the following sizes: 18 & 3-cluster, 15 & 6-cluster or 12 & 9-cluster strips. You choose based on the lengths you need for your application. When cutting a strip you will need to place a piece of the provided heat shrink tubing over the cut ends to make a watertight and insulated seal. Metric bikes with a large tank may need an entire strip under each side of the tank, whereas a typical Harley will take a 15-cluster under each side of the tank, leaving two 6-clusters to use behind your breather and your horn cover.

You can also use the entire strip without cutting it. You’ll want to cut and seal the wire lead from one end if using the entire strip. Just make sure you cut only the wire and not the strip at that end. A wrong cut in the wrong place will void your warranty. Call us if you are unsure where to make your cut. We provide heat shrink tubing with each strip to seal the cut ends or wire. The Fireworks Value Series LED strips and controller are backed by a one-year warranty.

Some of the colors of the Fireworks Value Series strips do not exactly match our Fireworks Ultimate strips. Therefore you should not purchase these strips to add additional lighting to an existing Fireworks Ultimate installation. You should not mix and match the Fireworks Value Series and Ultimate products or you may not be pleased with the result.

Pairing Remote FOBs to Control Box

Occasionally the handheld remotes (FOBs) become unpaired or disconnected from the control box. There are various reason for this, but fortunately the fix is a simple one. If you find that your remotes no longer control your lights and you know the battery is good, read these instructions for re-pairing them to the control box.

Remote Control Operation Guide

The Fireworks remote control is sold separately and is required to operate the Fireworks strips. The LOCK button (upper left) is used to select the desired effect. There are 7 different effects you can select using Lock. Change from one effect to the next by simply pressing Lock. Within each of these effect settings the UNLOCK (upper right) and LIGHTNING BOLT (bottom left) buttons control the speed of the effect, the color and/or the brightness. The BELL button (bottom right) always turns your lights off.

- Press the LOCK button once to turn ON the first color. It will be either red, green or blue, depending on which white wire you attached to the red, green and blue wires from the LED strips. In this “on” mode you can change the displayed color by pressing the UNLOCK button repeatedly. Dim the LEDs by pressing the LIGHTENING BOLT button while displaying any color. The brightness is reduced each time you press the LIGHTENING BOLT button. After 5 presses it will revert to the brightest setting.

- Press the LOCK button a second time to make a selected color FLASH. Press the UNLOCK button to change colors and the LIGHTENING BOLT button to control the speed of the flashing. Each time you press the LIGHTENING BOLT the flash will slow down, up to 4 times. On the fifth press it will resume full speed.

- Press the LOCK button a third time to SWITCH COLORS AUTOMATICALLY. In this mode the LIGHTENING BOLT controls the speed of the color switching and the UNLOCK button controls the brightness of the LEDs by further dimming them each time you press it, reseting them to full brightness on the 5th click.

- Pressing button LOCK button a fourth time activates the BREATHING MODE. In this mode the lights will go bright then dim, as if they are breathing. They automatically change colors with each “breath.” In breathing mode the LIGHTENING BOLT button controls the speed of the breathing. The UNLOCK button is not operational in this mode.

- The fifth time you press the LOCK button you’ll activate the STROBE MODE. In this mode you can use the LIGHTENING BOLT button to change the pattern of the strobe and the UNLOCK button to change the color.

- On the sixth press of the LOCK button you’ll enter the COLOR CHANGING STROBE MODE. In this mode the LIGHTENING BOLT button changes the strobe pattern and the UNLOCK button is inactive.

- Pressing the LOCK button a seventh time activates the COLOR BLENDING MODE. The colors continuously change in this mode. Control the speed of the blending by repeatedly pressing the UNLOCK button in this mode. You can also control brightness using the LIGHTENING BOLT button.

- You can turn the lights OFF in ANY MODE by pressing the BELL button.
